It is the middle of a moonless night, you have been dropped into a freezing ocean with only your skills, your pack. A small group is with you, it is up to you to get to your objective and complete your mission. To achieve the mission you need a balance of mental, physical and spiritual fortitude. Sean has tempered his steel through military service, sharpened his mind at Harvard and MIT, has been an intrapreneur inside a large corporation and now is helping birth a startup.. He is one of those people who, with duct tape, wire and tinfoil, can create a 2.4 gig wireless network. One who knows how to get stuff done with what is at hand, and when it is necessary to be hungry and scrappy. Sean brings this to the team, to lift others and aid them in GSD (getting stuff done). He strives to achieve the Ancient Greek belief of Arete — a thing’s or persons “ full realization of potential or inherent function”, demonstrating this in everything he does. For this he has earned this coin.
